God speaks a language of the heart

(God is spirit and ‘speaks’ to our hearts where we come to belief and ‘knowing’)

Look at the birds of the air; they do not sow or reap or store away in barns, and yet your Heavenly Father feeds them.  Are you not much more valuable than they? Matthew 6:26 NIV

If you then, though you are evil, know how to give good gifts to your children, how much more will your Father in heaven give good gifts to those who ask him! Matthew 7:11 NIV

Your Father in heaven is not willing that any one of these little ones should be lost. Matthew 8:14 NIV

We declare God’s wisdom, a mystery that has been hidden and that God destined for our glory before time began. None of the rulers of this age understood it, for if they had, they would not have crucified the Lord of glory. However, as it is written: “What no eye has seen, what no ear has heard, and what no human mind has conceived” — the things God has prepared for those who love him— these are the things God has revealed to us by his Spirit. 1 Corinthians 2: 7‑10 NIV

For the Lord’s portion is his people, Jacob his allotted inheritance.
In a desert land he found him, in a barren and howling waste.
He shielded him and cared for him; he guarded him as the apple of his eye,
like an eagle that stirs up its nest and hovers over its young,

To me, the very least of all saints, was this grace given, to proclaim to the non-Jews the unsearchable riches of Christ, and to bring to light for all what is the administration of the mystery which for ages has been hidden in God, who created all things; to the intent that now through the church the manifold wisdom of God might be made known to the rulers and the authorities in the heavenly places, according to the purpose of the ages which he purposed in Christ Jesus our Lord; in whom we have boldness and access in confidence through our faith in him. God is spirit, and those who worship Him must worship in spirit and truth. John 4:24 ESV

The Spirit searches all things, even the deep things of God. For who knows a person’s thoughts except their own spirit within them? In the same way no one knows the thoughts of God except the Spirit of God. What we have received is not the spirit of the world, but the Spirit who is from God, so that we may understand what God has freely given us. This is what we speak, not in words taught us by human wisdom but in words taught by the Spirit, explaining spiritual realities with Spirit-taught words. The person without the Spirit does not accept the things that come from the Spirit of God but considers them foolishness, and cannot understand them because they are discerned only through the Spirit. The person with the Spirit makes judgments about all things, but such a person is not subject to merely human judgments, for, “Who has known the mind of the Lord so as to instruct him?” 1 Corinthians 2: 10‑16 NIV

The Spirit himself testifies with our spirit that we are God’s children. Romans 8:16 NIV

“And I will ask the Father, and he will give you another Counsellor [or Comforter] to be with you forever – the Spirit of Truth.” John 14:16 NIV84

For by one sacrifice he has made perfect forever those who are being made holy. The Holy Spirit also testifies to us about this. First he says: “This is the covenant I will make with them after that time”, says the Lord. “I will put my laws in their hearts, and I will write them on their minds.”  Then he adds: “Their sins and lawless acts I will remember no more.” Hebrews 10: 14‑17 NIV

For to us God revealed [all that god has prepared for those who love him] through the Spirit; for the Spirit searches all things, even the depths of God. 1 Corinthians 2:10 NASB

This is how God showed his love among us: He sent his one and only Son into the world that we might live through him. This is love: not that we loved God, but that he loved us and sent his Son as an atoning sacrifice for our sins.
